Seniors Centre is where our seniors gather on a regular basis, and it serves as a hub for the various Neighbourhood Helpers programs. Created in response to rapid gentrification, the Downtown Eastside Seniors Centre has established a safe space that is tailored for seniors. We help to improve the lives of many seniors who live in Downtown Vancouver’s single residency occupancy units. Our centre is facilitated and operated through the assistance of volunteers, many of whom are seniors themselves.
